Absolutely! Every player, parent, and coach in the Ambassadors Baseball program completes our video training series before they can participate. This ensures everyone understands the culture, expectations, and high standards that make our program truly special.

The comprehensive training course features short, easy-to-follow videos followed by quick quizzes — typically 18–20 in total. Topics include no profanity, proper dress code, personal hygiene (including no facial hair for players), punctuality, and professionalism on and off the field.

But it’s not just about rules — it’s about building unity and accountability. The training helps reduce drama, improve communication, and create a healthy team culture where coaches can coach, parents can support, and players can thrive. Everyone learns what excellence looks like, and how to live it out daily.

As a fun bonus, parents receive a special T-shirt upon graduation that proudly says, “I graduated from Ambassadors Elite with a 4.0!” It’s our way of celebrating their effort and showing that we’re all in this together — committed to excellence from the dugout to the stands.

Coaches are paid monthly through a direct ACH transfer, making the process simple and reliable. Once everything is set up, payments are automatically deposited straight into each coach’s bank account — no waiting on checks or dealing with paperwork.

Our goal is to make sure coaches can focus on what they do best — leading, teaching, and developing their players — while we handle the administrative details behind the scenes.

We start at 13 years old — the age where real baseball truly begins. Players are now on 60/90 fields, the same dimensions used in high school, college, and beyond, and they’re beginning to mature both physically and mentally.

We intentionally don’t start with younger age groups because we believe the early years of baseball should stay local, fun, and full of great memories — not long weekends and big expenses. Those “small field” years are special, and we want kids to enjoy them without the pressure of travel baseball too soon.

Once players reach 13U, it’s the perfect time to step into a more structured, competitive, and developmental environment — one designed to prepare them for the next level the right way.

That’s a great question — but unfortunately, it’s not an option within our program. All Ambassadors Baseball coaches are required to commit to two seasons per year (summer and fall).

We believe consistency and commitment are key to building a strong culture and helping players reach their full potential. Our coaches are more than instructors — they’re mentors, leaders, and role models — and that kind of impact takes year-round availability.

Yes, absolutely! We’ve had some outstanding coaches who also had their sons on the team. It can be a great experience when handled with professionalism and fairness — and many of our best seasons have included that father–son dynamic.

That said, it’s typically a one-year overlap. Since players move up to the next age group each season, but coaches stay at the same age level year after year, your son would move on the following year while you remain in your assigned division.

This approach keeps our system consistent and ensures that every coach, whether or not they have a child in the program, is focused on the full roster — helping every player grow, compete, and develop.

Great question! Every Ambassadors coach is responsible for building their own roster — and how they do it depends a bit on the age group.

For 13U coaches, it’s the most challenging (and exciting) part of the job because they’re literally starting fresh with an entirely new team each year. They find players through tryouts, camps, showcases, and good old-fashioned networking.

Coaches at 14U and above have a big advantage — they can scout younger Ambassadors teams throughout the season and identify players who might be a great fit for the following year. This creates a natural pipeline of talent and keeps the competitive standard high across all age levels.

This approach also ensures that coaches have full control over their roster rather than being told who has to be on their team. That flexibility allows each coach to build their dream team — a group that fits their style, standards, and vision — creating a positive and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

Yes, coaches do have the flexibility to build their rosters — but we’ve found that balance and strategy are key. Our recommended model includes 4 outfielders, 3 middle infielders, 3 corner infielders, and 2 catchers, for a total of 12 position players.

Of course, some of those players may also pitch, and many teams choose to add a few “pitcher-only” players to round out the roster. That approach provides depth while keeping the lineup manageable so every player gets meaningful playing time.

This strategic roster planning has consistently proven to work well — it keeps teams competitive, players engaged, and ensures that everyone enjoys the experience without overcrowding the bench.

Nope — all players pay the same program fee, regardless of position. Every member of an Ambassadors Baseball team plays an important role and is expected to make a full, 100% commitment to the team.

We don’t separate fees based on position because we believe in team equality. Whether a player’s primary role is pitching, catching, or playing every day in the field, each one contributes to the team’s success and benefits from the same training, development, and experience.

At the end of the day, everyone’s part of the same mission — representing Ambassadors Baseball with excellence on and off the field.

We understand that players love to play as much baseball as possible — and we love that passion! However, our program is designed with a healthy and complete schedule that provides plenty of games and development opportunities. For that reason, we don’t recommend players take on additional teams during the same season.

When a player commits to Ambassadors Baseball, that commitment is 100%. Our teams rely on dependable rosters and consistent participation, so players aren’t permitted to miss Ambassadors events in order to play elsewhere.

That said, we’ll never stand in the way of a player who has an opportunity to play for another team outside of their commitment window with us. As long as it doesn’t interfere with their responsibilities to their Ambassadors team, we fully support players continuing to grow and enjoy the game.

Our teams typically play in 5–6 events per season, which works out to around 40–50 games across two seasons (summer and fall). We’ve found that this schedule strikes the perfect balance between development, competition, and rest.

Playing more than that often leads to burnout, fatigue, or unnecessary travel — and that’s not what we’re about. Our focus is quality over quantity: competitive events, meaningful innings, and players who are fresh, focused, and improving throughout the year.

We take a holistic approach to player development — one that focuses not just on athletic ability, but on the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of every athlete. Our goal is to develop well-rounded young men who stand out for their character as much as their talent.

When we believe a player is ready for exposure, we have no problem getting the right eyes on him. You’re right — whenever possible, we prefer for our teams to play on college campuses rather than in traditional tournaments. It’s a better environment for exposure, player experience, and overall development.

The good news is, coaches don’t have to navigate that process alone. The Ambassadors Baseball organization helps coordinate those opportunities through our extensive network of college coaches and recruiters.

With our established relationships and years of experience, we’re able to connect teams with on-campus events that not only provide great competition but also give players a real feel for the college baseball atmosphere.

Nope — that’s one of the best parts about being an Ambassadors Baseball coach! The organization handles all player fees for you, along with many of the other time-consuming administrative tasks that can distract from coaching.

We take care of collecting payments, managing uniforms, and even overseeing the training process for players and parents, so you don’t have to.

Our goal is simple: we want you focused on what you love and do best — coaching baseball — while we handle the behind-the-scenes details that keep everything running smoothly.

That’s completely up to each coach, but typically our teams do not practice on a regular weekly schedule like a local team might. The main reason is simple — our players often come from all over the state, and the time and travel required to bring everyone together for frequent practices just isn’t realistic for most families.

Instead, our coaches focus on high-quality instruction and preparation during events, team gatherings, and pre-tournament sessions. Players are also expected to train individually and come prepared. This model has proven to work extremely well, especially when everyone takes responsibility for their own development between events.

We’ve developed an incredible budgeting software tool that takes all the guesswork out of setting player fees. Coaches simply enter their team’s expenses — things like tournaments, uniforms, travel costs, and more — and the software automatically calculates the correct player fee amount.

Absolutely! Every player in the Ambassadors Baseball program receives an Individual Development Plan, or I.D.P. — a personalized roadmap designed to help them grow in every area of the game and in life.

Each I.D.P. is created collaboratively between the player and their coach, with guidance from our organizational leadership when needed. Coaches evaluate the player’s strengths, identify areas for improvement, and outline specific goals and action steps. Players then take ownership by tracking their progress and holding themselves accountable throughout the season.

Every plan includes key development categories such as:

1. Physical: strength, conditioning, nutrition, and recovery

2. Skill-based: hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, and base running

3. Mental: focus, confidence, attitude, and resilience

4. Leadership & Character: teamwork, communication, discipline, and faith
